El Instituto Cubano de Amistad con los Pueblos y su agencia de viajes, Amistur Cuba S.A., les invitan a participar en la XVII Brigada Internacional Primero de Mayo de Trabajo Voluntario y Solidaridad con Cuba, con motivo del Día Internacional de los Trabajadores, a desarrollarse entre el 22 de abril y el 4 de mayo de 2024.
Como ya es tradicional, los brigadistas tendrán la oportunidad de participar en la Jornada de actividades populares de homenaje al Día Internacional de los Trabajadores.Su estancia en nuestro país les permitirá, también, adquirir un mayor conocimiento sobre la realidad cubana actual y las transformaciones que se llevan a cabo, a pesar de la recrudecida política de bloqueo. Se incluyen visitas a lugares de interés histórico, económico, cultural y social, la realización de jornadas de trabajo voluntario, el intercambio con el pueblo y representantes de diferentes organizaciones.
El programa de actividades se desarrollará en La Habana, Artemisa y Cienfuegos; 13 noches de estancia, 10 de ellas en el Campamento Internacional “Julio Antonio Mella” (Cijam), ubicado en el municipio Caimito, a 45 km de La Habana y 3 noches en Cienfuegos. El Cijam, creado en 1972, posee su reglamento propio, que debe ser cumplido por quienes permanezcan en él; así como respetar adecuadamente las normas de conducta, disciplina y convivencia social.
La estadía tendrá un costo de $ 620.00 euros o dólares,que incluye alojamiento en habitaciones compartidas de hasta 4 personas en Cijam y habitaciones dobles o triples en Rancho Luna; pensión alimentaria completa; traslado desde y hacia el aeropuerto; y transportación a todas las actividades previstas en el programa.
La forma de pago será mediante transferencia bancaria o pasarela de pago online, se puede utilizar desde cualquier parte del mundo y es totalmente segura.Es una condición imprescindible viajar con seguro médico que tenga cobertura en Cuba. Los brigadistas que arriben al Cijam antes del 21 de abril, deberán pagar un suplemento adicional por noche, que incluye alojamiento y alimentación.
Las inscripciones estarán abiertas hasta el 31 de marzo de 2024. Se requiere informar los datos personales de los participantes, el itinerario de llegada y salida de Cuba, incluyendo fecha, hora y número de vuelo. A los brigadistas que se encuentren en La Habana, antes del inicio de la brigada, se les garantizará un transporte para el traslado hacia el Cijam.

XVII FIRST OF MAY INTERNATIONAL BRIGADE OF VOLUNTARY WORK AND SOLIDARITY WITH CUBA

The Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples and its travel agency, Amistur Cuba S. A. invite you to take part in the XVII International Brigade of Volunteer Work and Solidarity with Cuba, on the occasion of International Workers' Day, to be held between April 22 and May 4, 2024.
As it is traditional, the brigade members will have the opportunity to take part in a day of popular activities in tribute to International Workers' Day. Their stay in our country will also allow them to acquire a greater knowledge of the current situation in Cuba and the changes that are taking place, despite the intensified policy of the blockade. This includes visits to places of historical, economic, cultural and social interest, volunteer working days, exchanges with the people as well as representatives of different organizations.
The program of activities will take place in Havana, Artemisa and Cienfuegos; 13 nights of stay, 10 of them at the International Camp “Julio Antonio Mella” (CIJAM), located in the municipality of Caimito, 45 km from Havana and 3 nights in Cienfuegos. The CIJAM, established in 1972, has its own rules of procedure, which must be obeyed by those who remain in it, as well as duly respecting the rules of conduct, discipline and social coexistence.
The stay will cost $ 620. 00 euros or dollars, which includes accommodation in shared rooms for up to 4 people in CIJAM and double or triple rooms in Rancho Luna hotel; full board; transfer to and from the airport, and transportation to all activities planned in the program.
The method of payment will be using bank transference or online payment, which can be used from anywhere in the world and is completely secure. It is an essential condition to travel with medical insurance which must cover any issue in Cuba. Brigade members arriving at CIJAM before 21 April will have to pay an additional supplement per night, which includes accommodation and food.
Registrations will be open until 31 March 2024. It is required to inform the personal data of the participants, the itinerary of arrival and departure from Cuba, including date, time and flight number. Brigade members who are in Havana, before the start of the brigade, will be guaranteed transportation to the CIJAM.
